I figured I better have at least one journal entry, since I fancy myself a writer...

I'll just talk about my favorite subject, ACTION MOVIES!  A real action movie has an R rating.  Back in college, I dedicated an essay to the subject of PG-13 vs. R, using "Alien vs. Predator" as an example of a movie franchise, TWO movie franchises, that drifted to the lame side.  I got an "A+" on that essay btw

I'm so glad to see that the new DIE HARD has returned to its R roots.  PG-13 just can't give me the language and violence that I crave from an action movie.  It makes me happy to see the old titans – Willis, Stallone, and Schwarzenegger – return with rated R action movies.  And even happier to see Jason Statham follow in their footsteps with Parker.

Let's keep action movies hardcore, America!  Jack Reacher and Jason Bourne can suck it!
